Fables are stories that are handed down through generations to help learn lessons or make sense of the world around us. They build meaning and inform how we act. These narratives often become so ingrained in our lives that their messages are taken for granted as truths.

As a therapist, I believe that the stories of our experiences and those handed down to us hold substantial influence. Through these narratives, we create meaning about ourselves and our relationships, shaping how we navigate the world. However, some of the themes within these stories can lead to feelings of incompetence, worthlessness, anger, or isolation. You may find yourself not living up to a certain expectation, or perhaps a story has imparted a negative lesson about your identity.

As the author of your own story, you have the power to choose the themes that are significant to you, the lessons you want to embrace, and the steps you wish to take moving forward. While I do not possess infinite wisdom that can fix the challenges present in your narrative, I am committed to helping you connect with your core values, discover new skills, identify supportive relationships or social networks, and recognize the strengths you already have.

I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment, one that is open to possibilities and encourages exploration. If you believe that I may be a suitable fit as your therapist, I invite you to reach out to schedule a 15-minute consultation or to ask any questions you may have.
